Growing up in the West of Ireland influenced her exploration of memory and imagination, both of which are central to her work. Rather than focusing on specific places or people, her work is a deeper reflection on nature and the ways it can develop our experience of the present by means of a generational memory. She also draws inspiration from folklore and mythology to unravel the hidden stories that our natural surroundings hold.
